Editorial Profile of Farid Osman

Rewards writing

Farid Osman writes the rewards pages. His five pages are the banner hub, the three deposit tiers, cashback and daily bonuses, the referral programme and the new member reward tables. He copies each figure exactly as the banner prints it and records that a banner prints no condition where that is the case, which keeps invented terms out of the text. That is the whole method. His pages for apex88 read next to the banner so that the numbers can be checked one for one.

His rule is simple: a percentage or an amount appears in the text only when it appears on the artwork. Worked examples with money amounts, which readers sometimes expect, are left out, because they would present numbers that no banner prints.

Review duties

Farid is the named reviewer of eight pages, the live tables section and the VIP page. Reviewing means reading the draft against the lobby artwork and the public sources it cites and returning anything that does not match. His review of the live tables pages looks at rule statements and at the way house edge figures are quoted.

The full lists of what he wrote and what he reviewed are shown below, taken from the bylines, so a reader can see how much of the site passes through his hands. The banner offer terms page is a good example of his approach to figures.
